Hi,

I am not sure if anyone here can help me in my quest but here goes.

I am trying to locate a site that will give me access to lyrics and chords for "off colour" pub songs.

Specifically I remember one about a peasant meeting a notorious bandit that ends

so you ask me if I know ..... I had lunch with him the other day.

The songs mentioned are bawdy, but I rather doubt if they would be sung in pubs, tho my knowledge of pubs is limited. In a pub I would expect more of an overlap with the mildly naughty music-hall genre, such as "Little Bit of Cucumber" (with the audience supplying the "I come, you come") or "Sam Hall" or some of the songs on Elsa Lanchester's record.

Sorry , but IF I was in a pub with a lady , and the landlord allowed Obscenity , rather than 'bawdy' I would take my custom elsewhere .
Nothing wrong with Double (Or perhaps Triple) entendre , but Obscenity is for Boys Only events .
And YES ! I DO sing songs with ALL sorts of 'entendres' !
