Hello. I need written music for voice and accompaniment for the Appalacian Folk Ballad entitled The Nightengale. Where and/or how can I get it?

Thanks.

Check in the DT, there are 2 versions there. (Tune to the Cowboy version, Lomax's is different than how Lomax does it though). Hit click to pay on the Clancy's version for an idea of the tune. Some of the others here can write out the music, sorry can't help you there. You might also try the fourm search, I believe some time ago, there was a thread on this song or one of it's relatives. Thanks for the clues, Barry. Yeah, I have the lyrics and know the tune. I like the version on a CD I have by Custer La Rue and the Baltimore Consort. What I need specifically is a written accompaniment.
