I might go across on the Saturday. I went on the Sunday last year and wasn't impressed (apart from the evening concert, which was excellent: Old Blind Dogs). Couldn't find a descent session anywhere.

When is it? I'm up in Glasgow & Dumbarton on business on the w/end of 22and July. (I live & work in Manchester)But I have friends in that area and have often (well once or twice) popped in to the Balloch folk club.In fact the audience there were responsible for naming one of the tunes I'd recently written, as there it had its "maiden" performance, so new it went without a name.So when I asked if they'd like to put a name to it, the best one was "woman in the rocking chair".....and it stuck!!
