I posted the words to the song 'The Knowing Macaroni' in another thread. (hope this link works.) More news, possibly of wider interest than the original song:

...which goes towards a better understanding of how that dandy from Yankee Doodle could stick a feather in his cap and think that was good enough to call "macaroni".

As someone has refreshed, I will try the again to add a link to the song. The previous thread was Lyr Req: Black Joke (Adderbury Morris dance) and the song was message 34 in the thread, The Knowing Macaroni Outwitted. Maybe one of these will work!

I just fixed the link in the first post. Pavane (and maybe others), it is best to post any requests to fix links in the help forum - few, if any of us, who can make such changes read every thread. As for the renaming, you could post to the help forum or ask Joe or Pene - I think this one is a little outside the terms that a JoeClone like myself operate under (basically fix what is broken).
