No luck searching for those words on Google, sorry.

Perhaps a bit more information might help- which part of the world, male/female singer, accompaniment? solo/group? accent? style/genre of song?

Can anyone please match a song title and artist to these lyrics...
"The boy he needs someone, someone to care. I go to take his hand, lead him anywhere?"
I am uncertain if these are the exact lyrics, but this is the gist of it. Although I only heard the song once several years ago (at least 5 years now)on a local NPR folk music programme, I am still haunted by the beauty of the melody and the aforementioned lyrics. I have tried several times to find the song's title and artist, but came up empty handed every time. If anyone can help me bring this mad quest to an end, I'd greatly appreciate it. My e-mail address is Turtlechica1977@aol.com. Thanks.
