Tune Req: Rock in the Mountain

I heard this tune on the House Band's CD "October Song".

Can't seem to find the music published anywhere.

Is it an American tune?

What are its roots and influences?

Who played it originally, assuming its not traditional?

The slieve notes don't help much.
