Boulevard Of Broken Dreams

I walk along the street of sorrow
The boulevard of broken dreams
Where gigolo and gigalette
Can take a kiss without regret
So they forget their broken dreams

You laugh tonight and cry tomorrow
When you behold your shattered dreams
And gigolo and gigolette
Awake to find their eyes are wet
With tears that tell of broken dreams

Here is where you'll always find me
Always walking up and down
But I left my soul behind me
In an old cathedral town

The joy that you find here you borrow
You cannot keep it long it seems
But gigolo and gigalette
Still sing a song and dance along
Boulevard of broken dreams

Don't know if this is the one, but here goes:

Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Diana Krall Al Dubin - Harry Warren

I walk along a street of sorrow
The boulevard of broken dreams
Where gigolo and gigolette
Can take a kiss without regret
So they forget their broken dreams

You laugh tonight and cry tomorrow
When you behold your shattered dreams
And gigolo and gigolette
Awake to find their eyes are wet
With tears that tell of broken dreams

Here is where you'll always find me
Always walking up and down
But I've left my soul behind me
In an old cathedral town

The joy that you find here you'll borrow
You cannot keep it long it seems
But gigolo and gigolette
Still sing a song and dance along
The boulevard of broken dreams

You really should learn how to use a search engine - it isn't difficult.

Google www.google.com is pretty easy to use. 5 minutes on their help files and you'd be able to find this yourself

What rolsin really wants is "Every Street is a Boulevard in Old New York", see this thread. It's from a movie of the same name, starring Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin from 1956. I found a sound file, but no lyrics.

Every Street's A Boulevard (In Old New York)

Words, Bob Hilliard; music, Jule Styne, 1953
(duet with Jerry Lewis)

I tell you every street's a boulevard in old New York
Every street's a highway of your dreams
It's a thrill to shop on 34th street
Or down in Union Square
We like the people you meet
On Mulberry street, have you ever been there

Every street's a boulevard in old New York
So keep smiling and you'll never wear a frown
Just remember there's an East Side and the West Side
And Uptown and Down
That's why we're proud to be a part of New York town

34th street...Union Square...Mulberry street
Have you ever been there

Every street's a boulevard in old New York
Streets are paved with happiness in old New York
We're proud you're a part of it
We're happy that you came
Each sidewalk is a concrete path to fame
Just remember there's an East Side and the West Side
And Uptown and Down
In this great big metropolis known as New York town

Which song is it rolsin? I'm betting it Blvd of Broken Dreams, which is a better song, anyway--"Lambeth Walk" Pavane? How about "Leaning on a Lampost?"
