I keep remembering snatches from a song my grandfather used to sing to me--"mama seek you, mamma seek you, all down dolly hill." It had something to do with a cardinal, too, I seem to remember. I'm using "Down Dolly Hill" as the title of a new booklet I'm producing, and would like to know more about the song--or did Grandpa make it up for us kids?
