Another song that I can’t find here is Bob singing one called "Red Rose Bush." Lyrics are as I can make ‘em out:

I wish I was a red rose bush
...
And every time my true love passed
She’d take a rose from me

I wish I had
A river wandering far
All through the hills
I would take her out ...
I’d put her back again

I wish I was a ... dark ...
When ... never shines
... true love ...
I know she loves me ...

I wish I was a red rose bush
...
And every time my true love passed
She’d take a rose from me ...

It’s a beautiful song much like the other one I am searching for the elusive "Mary Ann' only this one sounds more English whereas Mary Ann sounds like a cowboy western song.

hmm. Strongly resembles both "Cindy, Cindy git along home" and "Old Baldy". I'll see what I can find.
