Sorcha not going?? Terrible!! we hope to be there for a few days - I'm on call (specifically asked them NOT to put me on call then, so guess what..) so I'm tryin' to get a swap.

You won't need a date for Winfield. They will let you in even if you go by yourself--as long as you don't try to bring any liquor in. Bob Redford will confiscate it and probably drink it himself. I played at Winfield for about a dozen years and I never needed a date.

Once I took my wife though. (But that's a whole other story.)

Hey, Winfield is my home town; could I do less? Besides, Mr. Sorcha's aunt is the #1 Secretary for the festival. Sorry to say we don't plan to go this year.
