Has anyone heard of a song called 'Steel Men' that was written after the collapse of the 2nd Narrows Bridge (now called the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge) in Vancouver in the late 50's. I don't know who wrote it. Any info would be appreciated.

Two of us more or less got the whole song together in this thread.

It was apparently recorded by Jimmy Dean and maybe Roger Whit(t)aker. but no info on the author.
