From: Rich(bodhránai gan ciall) Date: 13 Aug 01 - 09:29 PM Well, It doesn't look like quite as hot of a line-up as last year, but it's still gonna be smokin! Sliabh Notes and Beginish on the same bill! Look for them to crash each other's sets. Robbie Hannon, Natalie MacMaster, I've heard there's a few other add-ons. It should be fun. (Except Summerfest, which started a couple years before I left.) If my mother thought of it, she'd probably use Irish Fest to try to lure me back for a visit. The Zoo Ala Carte Festival is always the same weekend, and its almost impossible to get time off.(And I'm talking 8 am to 11 pm at the Zoo, so no Irish Fest afterwards, either) But this year, I DID IT!! I'll be visiting the Gaeltacht area, and otherwise following Sliabh Notes and Beginish from stage to stage for the most part. I've got long, dark hair, usually in a pony tail, a bushy beard, and will probably be wearing either a Daltaí na Gaeilge (Students of Irish)or Conradh na Gaeilge(the Gaelic League) T-shirt unless, my Mudcat shirt is clean in which case I'll be sure to pack and wear that, of course!
