Thanks everyone I've put a fuller answer on the Treaties1 thread but as I may have put 'a cat among the pigeons' with tradtional minded shantymen i'll leave this one running for any observations

Why am I not too surprised that one of my favourite singers (and people) has won the Shanty. Possibly because Teresa puts so much into a song it's a joy for those of us who have the priviledge to listen. Good on ya!
