Just to mention a good club that's been running for a while.It's ustairs at the Railway Inn, Lumb Lane,Droylsden,Manchester,M43.It runs every 2nd and 4th Thursday in the month.Singers and occasional guests.Nice room,nice people. Anyone in visiting distance from Manchester,try it.Thanks,Davejones.

Yes, I've been. They do have guests, mostly local I think, and singers are always welcome.

I've just caught this after being away on holiday for a couple of weeks. I have heard of this, but unfortunately have never been - something I intend to rectify in the near future!

According to 'City Life', John Denny is booked to appear at the Railway this Thursday, 20th September - but that is the third Thursday in the month, whereas Dave said above the club meets the 2nd & 4th Thursdays (?).

The Droylsden Bush folk club is held every Tuesday evening 9-00pm. All welcome, players, singers and just to have a drink and listen.
