BS: Starting High School

My daughter Jane who is 11, has just strolled off without a backward glance to start her first day at Hawick High School. She looks the part, all grown up,nearly taller than me in her new shoes and as she informed me this morning its "the biggest step in her life"..... Me..I'm choaked and tearful....and in need of chocolate to help me with this big step.

Thanks for the virtual chocolate Noreen.... I have puddled about all day,not getting anything useful done but she'll be home soon and I can't wait to hear how she got on. Rites of passage are difficult but.... necessary :-)
