Help: Sessions

This sounds pretty ridiculous but.............. Even though I come from Dublin, I haven't lived there for 17 years and am a bit out of touch with whats what. I do go for holidays every year, but haven't had enough time to check out the really good relaxed sessions. Are there any other Dublin Mudcatters on site, who can give me a couple of tips. I am going home (!!) in October and am bringing my Swiss singing partner with me. She would love to experience the session in its traditional settings. Years and years ago , I used to take part in a weekly session every Monday in O'Connells in Rathmines, if any of you knew that setting you will know what I have in mind, there Martin Black was a regular, and his sister Mary used to drop in every so often to sing a song!Ever heard of them??!!
