The Carnvaha Festival,(A celebration of the Earth) is on in Wexford Town, Ireland at the moment.It began on the 1st of Sept. with The Dubliners, the 2nd featured Pol O Braonain (Clannad)and his band Dreambard. Tonight At The Racket play Wexford Arte Centre, with Sonny Condell.Tomorrow, the 4th features Pierce Turner with guest Melanie O'Reilly. Wednesday Maire Ni Braonain and her band with guest Eleanor McEvoy. Thurs. The Hothouse Flowers. Friday Liam O'Maonlai and Friends and King Sativa.As well as all the above there are sessions all over the place. All culminates with "Carnvaha the Celebration" at Carnsore Point from 12 noon on Saturday the 8th. The Celebration includes special guests "Some from the original Carnsore Demos". Saturday is free,Irish Catters, be there, for good music, good food and a good time. "For a Nuclear Free Future"
