While ambling around my alma mater's home pages, I found this excellent listing by Ann Solberg, done in 1999. I did e-mail her with a few things including Folk-Legacy and the Mudcat, but I really don't know how often the thing is updated. In any case, the listings of articles and books and all makes for a pretty good reference.

Check It Out

Check out these resources with many links, originally created for the Annual Conference on the Women of Appalachia, too.

Also excellent masato.....I wish the site from Berea College had some hot links to net info, but it is very well done and a pretty good job of compilation.

Webliography? I thought there should be a name for these lists on the net of all sorts of stuff to do with a topic. Now Catspaw has provided it. It should be submitted to the OED. I listened to some 1927-1930 recordings with Sarah and Maybelle Carter the other night. Wonderful!
