Subject: RE: HEALING THOUGHTS? FUCK OFF From: DougR Date: 13 Sep 01 - 01:30 AM Mcgrath: I'm not at all sure what you mean? I clicked on the blue clicky, but you seem to be implying that the person that began this thread might be a troller! Shame on you! (I hope you realize I'm not serious) DougR |
Subject: RE: HEALING THOUGHTS? FUCK OFF From: Troll Date: 13 Sep 01 - 01:44 AM I think he's a phony. I went back and checked some of the other inflamatory "GUEST" posts and there are certain characteristics that are consistant throughout. I went back to the election and there she/he was, albeit under several different pseudonames (GUEST SO-AND-SO). So I'm convinced that it's the same person. Not that I mind, you understand. If he/she can't stand the light of day, it's not MY problem. By posting as "GUEST" she/he can get 'catters to read his/her posts because, "it might not be him/her this time". GUEST, this is a silly attitude. They read MY drivel, why do you assume they wouldn't read yours? troll |
Subject: RE: HEALING THOUGHTS? FUCK OFF From: DougR Date: 13 Sep 01 - 02:32 AM Troll: The thing that really upsets me is so many Mudcatters post messages asking for support because they have lost a loved one, and Mudcatters always respond with messages of love and support. I did the same thing when my wife died two years ago and I was swamped with messages of goodwill and support. It was much appreciated. There have been many other such posts, but I don't recall one that was posted by a "Guest." When someone posts who does not identifies him/herself, and particularly when the title of the thread is such as the one as this, I question the validity of the poster. When Mudcatters rush to post messages of love and support to unidentified guests, it causes me to wonder how sincere such messages are to those who are "real" people. I'll have nothing more to say on the subject. I will not be surprised, however, to see a "post" "I just lost my whole family in the World Trade Center," and signed, "Guest." And I won't be surprised to see multiple of messages of sympathy and support. And the fake poster will have a good laugh. DougR |
Subject: RE: HEALING THOUGHTS? FUCK OFF From: marty D Date: 13 Sep 01 - 03:09 AM Doug. You summed the situation up very well. A person who is actually suffering would have no reason to annonymously insult everyone else here simply because they're being supportive. Not surprised you got flack tho'. marty |
Subject: RE: HEALING THOUGHTS? FUCK OFF From: KingBrilliant Date: 13 Sep 01 - 08:02 AM I disagree Marty, when I'm in pain I always lash out - and most viciously at those who are trying to comfort me. That's what I meant in my earlier post (see above) about 'f*ck off world' times. Its not that unusual a reaction. Kristin |
