Subject: RE: Photos of Support from around the world From: wysiwyg Date: 22 Sep 01 - 02:28 AM Oh my. Those are powerful... the courage of each one who went to, of all places, an American embassy that can be a target anytime... a little boy Batman tending our wounds... that Russian madonna icon in Moscow, they are so incredibly precious to the people... all of these, singly and in accumulation, so powerful. So MANY. Taipei, I think it was, a blue sign held by a woman racked with grief for us, her sign saying "we are together." Thank you for sharing these. ~S~ |

Subject: RE: Photos of Support from around the world From: Allan C. Date: 21 Sep 01 - 08:45 PM If the images you first see in the above link look familiar, it is because you saw some of them in the thread, USA and the World. However, the images have been updated, organized better and there are many more of them. Again, it takes quite a wait to load the pages, but well worth it. |
Subject: Photos of Support from around the world From: katlaughing Date: 21 Sep 01 - 12:25 PM Please take a minute to look at these photos: Images of World Support. They are an incredible testament to how much this whole tragedy is felt by the whole world. I am sitting here with tears running down my face just from such images as children standing in silence in a classroom in Korea, to firemen in another country, to all of the different countries flags lowered to half mast, to an incredible mosaic of flowers in the image of our flag and the thousands of flowers and candles all over in memoriam. These are powerful and have done much to give me heart. I hope thay will help all to feel better. love, kat |
