You have prayed for the grieving families of the Twin Tower and Pentagon terrorist attack. Now add the western media to your prayers. They are clueless concerning the exact link between the recent terrorist attacks and Islamic doctrine. News networks are oblivious to the fact that Islamic jihadism (Muslim militant holy war) breeds in Muslim fundamentalist madrassa schools, which are scattered over the world today, even Benin, America, Canada and Holland. The media is ignorant that such jihadists interpret the Qur an literally and are amongst the most devout, devoted and purist Muslims in the world. Jihadists invariably win internal Islamic theological debates because they interpret and imitate their prophet Mohammed most correctly. When do you ever hear journalists report that jihadists frequently attack if not paralyse their own umma Islamic communities around the world? When do media commentators explain the source of the militant religious phenomena in Iran, Sudan, Afghanistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Algeria, Turkey, Palestine, Yemen, Somalia, Indonesia and the list goes on? Does the media even know that the majority of nominal world- wide Muslims are compelled to tow the line by their more radical clerics? All we are ever fed are lines on economic disparity, tribal vengeance and anti-American policy protests.

If I was a Muslim fundamentalist, I would consider the present Western media my closest ally. Militant Islam can hide indefinitely in the West under two liberal media cloaks. The first is recent darling of the media, the anti-hate laws, which criminalise any direct criticism or condemnation of any religion, culture or lifestyle in the nation (with the notable exception of Christianity, which has been singled out for unapologetic denigration.). Anyone who denounces a feature in Islam is immediately guilty , according to such laws, of hate mongering. Muslim vigilantly defense leagues faithfully cruise the www in the West to hunt down any hate reference to Islam. The second protective cloak for Islamic fundamentalist is the multi-cultural, multi-faith doctrine of pluralism, tolerance and dialogue, which effectively sanctions anyone from being right and therefore, no one can be pronounced wrong in their religion. This reasoning returns the human spirit to the Dark Ages where an exacting scrutiny of another religion is considered hostile, aggressive and subversive. Who in today s media circles would dare to grill a Muslim cleric the way we interrogate politicians on the air, or a fry a witness in a legal trial? All a Muslim cleric has to declare is I believe in love and peace and everyone is obliged to believe him verbatim without any licence for cross- examination. Listening to them, you would even conclude that Islam is merely a mystic (Sufi) non-violent religion at heart. This is why the media need our prayers. They do not know whom they all are sheltering.

America, if it does go to war against the terrorists , as Bush Jr. vowed, will be fighting a doctrinal war, that is, a war they have never fought before. It already has gone the wrong direction. The media has already exonerated all the Muslims in the USA from having any conceivable link with the Saudi dissident Osman ben Laden. What a gift! The present global news is filled with pro-Muslims commentary, with news analysts demanding Westerners to believe that any so- called Islamic terrorist is in essence a terrible Muslim, a criminal according to the Qur an, and in violation of Islamic thought. Nothing could be further from orthodox Islamic theology. If the prophet Mohammed lived today, I suggest that he would have endorsed their martyrdom 100%, and that, irrespective of the staggering number of victims. How could he not? The prophet himself, while reigning in Medina, fought in 27 jihad holy wars, encouraged the assassination of over 25 opponents and referred to the non-Islamic world of infidels as dar-el-harb, the world of war . Late in his life, he annulled over 200 earlier tolerance verses in the Qur an, and on his deathbed he spurred his future caliphs and warrior disciples to extreme jihad struggle until all was under the dominance of Islam. Yet how can the media report this without violating their own doctrines of anti-hate defamation and multi-faith tolerance? They merit the painful rebuke of the religious leaders of Christ s day: O you blind guides! Pray that their eyes may be opened because it will affect Christians, Jews and missions the world over. The Nigerian Muslims danced in the street when they heard the terrorist news, and that days after killing dozens of Christians and burning churches in Jos. Does that say nothing? Yet now is the best time to approach them. Now we can courageously say to them: It is abundantly clear what fundamentalist Islam ultimately leads to: a holy slaughter but Christ Jesus leads us to a holy death of himself for the salvation of all Muslims who will now believe. Pray for a great in-gathering resulting from this great jihad horror.
