Subject: Where's Mousethief? From: GUEST Date: 24 Sep 01 - 06:45 AM Mousethief hasn't posted for a while. September's been (relatively) Mousethief free. Some of his posts drive me nuts, but I'm kinda missing him. Hope he's OK Come back hairy one! Anyone know? |

Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: katlaughing Date: 24 Sep 01 - 09:58 AM I've been missing him, too. I had a PM last week. He was okay, starting a new venture. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: Kim C Date: 24 Sep 01 - 10:04 AM I have seen him one or two times, but yes, I have wondered where he's got off to! |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: Mountain Dog Date: 24 Sep 01 - 10:11 AM Glad to hear he's OK. Certainly, he's missed. |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: Bill D Date: 24 Sep 01 - 10:12 AM he had worked at Boeing, I believe...that may be relevant |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: catspaw49 Date: 24 Sep 01 - 05:32 PM I was worried a bit too, but I understand he indeed off to something new and had left Boeing prior to the layoffs. However, since he did post mainly from work, I imagine that may be part of the reason he hasn't been around. Spaw |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: mousethief Date: 25 Sep 01 - 11:10 AM Thanks catters. I did leave Boeing, and just in time (people were asking me if I had a crystal ball -- nope, just lucky timing!). I'm now working for Kaye-Smith (cf www.kayesmith.com). But Thursday and Friday of last week I took off so I could take my stepson to Walla Walla to check out Whitman College (one of his top 3 choices for college). Got to re-meet old friends I hadn't seen in 13 years (Tim is the one who originally turned me on to Rev. Gary Davis's music!). Excellent get-away, but of course relatively computer-free. Not sure how much I'll be able to post. Work is far more intense here (which I enjoy, don't pity me!), and hte home computer is having a fit in which it refuses to connect to the internet. See you soon---when I can! alex |

Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: GUEST Date: 25 Sep 01 - 01:23 PM Simon@Garfunkel.com, excellent, amused me. Glad that you're OK, Hairy! :-) |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: SharonA Date: 25 Sep 01 - 06:42 PM mousethief lives! HOORAY! I was a bit concerned, as well, and wondered if you'd just gotten tired of the whole flaming/stalking routine, or what? Glad to hear you're doing well. Best of luck in your new position! |

Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: mousethief Date: 06 Jun 02 - 04:14 PM Dunno. Not knowing who you are, it's hard to say. Anonymous postings are not allowed (you have to sign up although it's free), and people who are just too nasty are flushed. Not sure if any of that applies to you. Alex |

Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: mousethief Date: 06 Jun 02 - 06:22 PM It would appear that, like MJB coffee, I can't please all of the people all of the time. Alex |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: Haruo Date: 07 Jun 02 - 02:24 AM Been a while since I walked the plank at the Ship of Fools. Maybe I'll come visit you. As I recall it was a nice place for people who liked a little satire with their Christianity. Liland |
Subject: RE: BS: Where's Mousethief? From: katlaughing Date: 07 Jun 02 - 02:51 AM Alex, we're not meant to please them all, anyway; some are just impossible.:-) I look forward to checking out the BB, too, and it's really good to see you here. kat |
