LEJ- Apparantly there is a lot of truth to that line. My daughter Annie, and son in law David were at the summer NAMM show, and Chet Atkins appreciation show in Nashville this summer, and they report that the assembled talent there was phenomenal. Lots of folks we'd never heard of that played not twice, but five or ten times better than I ever will. Made a lot of good contacts. As a result of those shows, we got tickets to see Stephen Bennett and Tommy Emmanuel, (known to us now as the Great Humiliator), in Colorado Springs last week. I hope you caught them at Swallow Hill. Sorry I didn't give you a heads up, but I really didn't imagine how good these guys are. Thanks, BlueJay

Well, Spaw, given the thick accents in the recording the only way to tell that would be to read the label, which i never got a chance to do -- it belonged to a petty officer who played the 45 over and over again in his mess hall so I got to hear it endless times but never read it!!

...if you were to adjust the 1352 figure for inflation, would you have more pickers, or would they just be lots bigger?
