Subject: Lyr/Tune Add: RUTHVEN (Keith Johnston) From: IvanB Date: 26 Sep 01 - 11:26 PM This beautiful song which I believe was written (he performed it) by Keith Johnston, a Scots singer/songwriter, was played on Celtic Connection a few weeks ago. I got most of the lyrics, but I could use a little help in the third verse. In the first line, what I believe is a place name sounds like "Come Aussie." Does anybody have the lyrics and, if so, could you please proof mine? Thanks. Here's what I have: Ruthven Keith Johnston

Also the words you are looking for in the third verse are.. Oh Drumossie I know youre cryin' But you never make the sound Of the rumble of the thunder That cut a thousand clansmen down. Cheers! |
