On the road again (sure as you're born)...

Anyway, the next trip is for business but since it's to New Orleans, fun will be allowed... I'll be there Jan 2-6, for a trade show, which means I hang around the hotel most days and probably have dinner with authors or something most evenings, but later? Some lunchtimes? The occasional midmorning or midafternoon break? I have no known plans for the 2nd when I arrive, set up isn't till the 3rd? This is not my first trip to that lovely city so I have seen a lot of the more touristy places already... anyone wanna go suck crawdad heads, and other things like that that upset the Northerners?

I only get the one trip a year, but it's to New Orleans or San Francisco or DC (well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad). Up North they don't even serve the heads on (and that's where all the FLAVOR is, I hear my mother cry). They don't know what they are missing, indeed.

annamill, I assume you're answering about crawdad heads in general, not about LA as in Louisiana? I don't think anyone goes Yuck about New Orleans, right?

Gee Mrrzy, being so hot on the south and all, you should know that while LA may be the abbreviation for Louisiana, L.A. stands not for Louisiana or Los Angeles, but for Lower Alabama! As in, "Ima takin' the wife an kids to L A for the weekend. We got us a fancy ass motel in Mobile all lined up."

But, in this case I think it's "Love Annamil"......
