If anyone had their message mysteriously disappear, I am sorry. I have been fidlin with the database to make it faster and one or two messages may have been lost in the shuffle. Just post them again.

I posted a thread (Lyr Req) last week on "Green" Lady Jean (or)Jane Drummond, but now cannot find it, despite putting a Trace on it, and searching the forum. I posted the original message as a guest, reset my cookie when I realised it was past its sell by date, but I'm sure I put the trace on after this.

Any ideas?

Next time try entering a word you knew was in the title (like lady or drummond) in the FILTER box and then set the refresh for some period that you are sure is longer than you need. Jeff entered lady, I entered drummond and set my refresh for 90 days.

The filter is very literal minded - if you put in a space too many or a space too few or so forth, it won't pick it up. So long as the actual letters you put down are there, it'll find them. But, for example, McGrath and Mc Grath wouldn't count as the same. (But Grath would throw up both of them)

I'd tried just Drummond in the main box, which threw up (no pun intended, Spaw!)several threads with Drummond in the message line, but not the one I was looking for.
