Having just posted the Esperanto version of "Drink to me only with thine eyes" (I'm still working on the MIDI) in La Lilandejo, I thought I would check the DT for the end-of-Prohibition parody, but it doesn't come up. My recollection is it goes something like

Drink to me only with good hard cider,
Or gin, or a scotch highball,
Brandy or wine, or any old thing
Just as long as it's alcohol,
For now that the Wets have won the day,
And Prohibition is through-oo
To drink to me only with thine eyes
Is a hell of a thing to do!

Corrections? Authorship? Copyright?

I suppose this should really be Lyric Add, not Req (when I created it I didn't realize I remembered the whole thing) - or are there more verses?
