Somebody lost the rooster'sw punchline.

The line is :re the cow; Their're giving eggnog, just like they used to

Then we go to gumtree that would not give gum

and: It's giving chicklets, just like ....

Dog and pooched eggs.

gaspump and Eggzon or Shell

Not sure how the tractor and elephant fits.

And that's the folk process.

Richard

Wayne
We obviously have a more subtle version here on the Lizard
but I think this is a version of the same song.

We had some chickens, no eggs would they lay
We had some chickens, no eggs would they lay
And I said Honey, this sure ain't funny
We're losing money, no eggs would they lay.

One night a Rooster came into our yard
And caught them chickens right off of their gaurd
They're laying eggs now just like they used ta
Since the day that Rooster came into our yard

We had some moo cows, no milk would they give
We had some moo cows, no milk would they give
And I said Honey, this sure ain't funny
We're losing money, no milk would they give.

One night a Rooster came into our yard (with a stool)
And caught them moo cows right off of their gaurd
They're giving milk now just like they used ta
Since the day that Rooster came into our yard

We had some elephants no tusks would they grow
We had some elephants no tusks would they grow
And I said Honey, this sure ain't funny
We're losing money, no tusks would they grow.

One night a Rooster came into our yard (with a ladder)
And caught them elephants right off of their gaurd
They're laying eggs now (ivory) just like they used ta
Since the day that Rooster came into our yard

We had a tractor it just wouldn't go
We had a tractor it just wouldn't go
And I said Honey, this sure ain't funny
We're losing money, it just wouldn't go

One night a Rooster came into our yard (with a spanner)
And caught that tractor right off of its gaurd
It goes and goes now, just like it used ta
Since the day that Rooster came into our yard

Dyw genes

Come On! Someone must have this song. I remember another couple of lines that go something like this. If I had the wings of an angel. Or if I had the ass of a crow. I'd fly all over this nation and-----on the people below. Don't roost her while shes living. Don't roost here when she's gone. When eggs get a dollar a dozen thjats the I'll roost for you

Looking for this song. Here are some of the words.

There's a Rooster in our back alley
Making love to a little red hen
I know that he's no springs chicken
But He'll roost her time and again

If I had the wings of an angel
