I heard it sung by stan rogers on his album Turnaround ages ago and love it. Its originaly a trad one and the lyrics arn't listed on his sites - anyone know the words? Cxxx

Stan Rogers learned this traditional song, apparantly belonging to the Rosemary/Raspberry Lane (etc.) family, from Ian Robb's record The Barley Grain For Me (Folk Legacy).  It is in the DT (without a tune) as  MARRY? NO, NOT I

It can be a little difficult to find through the "Digitrad and Forum Search", as the program assumes that the word not means that the word following it must be excluded from the search.  Typing in " oh no not i", with the inverted commas to tell the program to treat it as a phrase, does the trick.

I should also mention that the DT set has what seems to be a few minor textual variations from the Rogers recording, and that due to a typo in the above link, you should use this one instead:  MARRY? NO, NOT I
