Evenin' Folks! After plunging head-first into the database and reelin' in beaucoup lyrics to restore my database that went belly up on me, I decided to join up with you 'catters (if you'll have me) and hopefully make some contributions here as thanks for helping retrieve a lot of good folk music for me. In fact - been thru the newbie FAQ, jumped all over the place, turned three times 'round on the old rug and hunkered down. You're a great group. Special thanks to Ian and uh, oh shucks I'm going to slaughter this one - musashi-san? for the feedback on Johnny Booger.

Thanks Lizzy! Yep, had 'em in the water as soon as I checked out some of the other threads out here. My sense of humor, like my reputation, is so well developed that it goes out for a good time and comes back to tell me all about it! As for choppy, I had an acquaintance who waited until stormy days and downed a couple of pints before he went sailing, just so there was a bit of a challenge. Bring on the chop!

Hi, Captain,

I know my name is difficult to remember. The late Kenny Goldstein called me "Matt" for short, but I don't like it because I'm not Matthew at all.
My name aside, welcome here. It's nice to talk with you again.

~Masato

Masato-san! Good to hear from you! I opted for a second brandy and came back in here, just knockin' 'round the threads. Its now past late and into early so I'd better hit the sack. Talk to you soon!

And, er.... not so loud with 'Lizzy' please - I haven't been her for about 20 years now.... still trying to live down some of the wilder moments.....

I can cope with 'Mad Bess', or Liz the Squeak.

Howdy, Cap --

You sound like a pure nach'r'l Catter, and we can always use a few more of them. We keep burning them up -- something to do with the voltage regulator but we haven't found the exact bug just yet. Either that or they just short out on serpent's dripping.

Welcome aboard.

Well folks a great warm welcome, and if you don't mind I like this here spot right on the old rag rug by the fire.

Ian - many thanks on the lyrics, smallpiper - appreciate the welcome, Hollowfox, I'm a transplanted Minnesotan to Ohio here in the colonies, Jack, avast ye thar mate, flay me wit' a marlinespike else! Liz, pardon on the familiarity LTS it is then! Steve, thanks for the greetings, Norton1, looks like a fine bit of elbow room here my friend! Gareth, dropping anchor with such a fine welcome! AliUK, spaw sounds like a right bullroarer to me! Amos, I'm a grizzled, thick-hided opinionated lovely ol' guy with pretensions at pen-mindedness. I burn hot bright and clear.

Thanks t' all of you I'm feelin' right hunkered down home here.
