Tom Lewis, singer of the sea, is playing tonight, (oct 12) at the Opera House in Fredonia, NY.
Its about 50 miles south of Buffalo.

Wondering if any other 'catters are going.

Actually Tom's a friend, so I hope to sit down with him after over a tall pint or two.
Doesn't know I'm coming yet. Should be fun, 5 hour drive though, not including crossing the border. (Just in case you wonder, I live in Windsor, Ontario)

Tom Lewis will be in Branford, CT the next night, Oct 13, at Trinity Coffeehouse (on the green) sponsored by the Branford Folk Music Society. Shipping News will open for him at 7:30, and he goes on at 8. I'm sure there will be a few mudcats there, including myself, hopefully.

Nah, the dinner with the bish is off now, cuz Hardi just got called to a deathbed. Old guy, a stitch, and a fabulous dancer.... ah well, he LIVED!
