Subject: Punxatawney Dick From: Greg F. Date: 26 Oct 01 - 08:35 PM I note from the news reports that 'Punxatawney Dick' Cheney came out of his burrow yesterday for a few hours and reportedly saw his shadow, which means he'll be going back into hiding for another six weeks. I understand the concern for Dick's welfare- were he to be permanently incapacitated or killed, Smirking W. Doofus would actually be President. Best, Greg |

Subject: RE: BS: Punxatawney Dick From: CarolC Date: 26 Oct 01 - 09:02 PM Maybe not, Greg F. There would still be Colin Powell. Mabye they ought to put Mr. Bush into hiding and have Cheny take all of the risks. I think I like that scenario better. |

Subject: RE: BS: Punxatawney Dick From: Greg F. Date: 27 Oct 01 - 11:28 AM It IS a pretty nasty condition, 'Spaw, but not half as nasty as Pentagonorrhea, which even in the primary stage seriously hampers normal brain function. Its been detected in virtually all of the current administration and has reached positively epedimic proportions in the US population in the last month. I'm in hopes the CDC will tackle this before most of the nation is incapacitated. Best, Greg |
