Just a quick note......Here's a good reason to watch the boob tube occaionally. If you get the BRAVO network, which airs some tremendous programs such as "Inside the Actors Studio" and "Profiles," it is currently airing a well done program with lots of music, lots of photos, and lots of video clips, called "Bill Wyman's Blues Odyssey."

I wouldn't begin to know how to summarize this excellent program. If you get a chance, check it out. It's a winner!

Spaw, it's ironic, but when Mudcat wasn't working last night, I turned on the tube, started channel surfing, and found this program. I forgot about it until you posted.

Spaw, I watched the program and was enthraled. Really enjoyed it. Of course his treatment of the blues was sort of in the vein of Ken Burns' "Jazz" documentary, it was as notable for what it omited as for what was included, still, for a single two-hour program, I thought it was great.

VH-1 ALSO HAS A LOT OF BEHIND THE SCENES MUSIC STORIES THAT ARE VERY INTERESTING, AND THEY COVER A BROAD SPRECTRUM OF THE MUSIC FIELD. BOB

Caught the last 45 minutes or so of the show. I particularly enjoyed the segments on Muddy Waters, from live concert footage to remembrances by many, including Muddy's eldest son.

Have to watch for a rebroadcast of this'un!
