Subject: RE: BS: Names changed to protect the innocent??? From: Paul from Hull Date: 08 Nov 01 - 07:01 PM *LOL* I dunno....there are already rumblings of discontent, I think, about Hull's separate, independent status....*G* |
Subject: RE: BS: Names changed to protect the innocent??? From: Linda Kelly Date: 08 Nov 01 - 06:55 PM To me you will always be Micca my sweet,Actually, one of the main reason for changing is the frequency with which I now seem to meet other Mudcatters in the flesh, which in Hull is an awful lot. It seems daft to speak to Mudcatters at a folk session using one name and to refer to myself by my proper name to non mudcatrers -it is also a little discourteous to both sets of people -but this is purely my own choice . |
Subject: RE: BS: Names changed to protect the innocent??? From: Lepus Rex Date: 08 Nov 01 - 06:50 PM I like the fake names, myself. 'Real' names are hard for me to remember, especially all those 'Fred_B' and 'Betsy_G' type names. I'm actually changing my real name to Lepus Rex, just to be an ass, so I guess I'll be in that club, anyway. >:) ---Lepus Rex/Will_A, ewww. |

Subject: RE: BS: Names changed to protect the innocent??? From: heric Date: 08 Nov 01 - 05:30 PM I'm inspired to follow suit, and it feels good! 'Course, my last name is mispelled a little bit, but a lot of people like to call me Kelly anyway, so it's good enough. My surname is unique, so that Google will pull up bad jokes I told on forums eight years ago. I need to protect my freedom to say stupid things (without it showing up in a job interview, or something.) You can all feel free to treat me as you would any other Guest. ;) Dan K. |

Subject: Names changed to protect the innocent??? From: Linda Kelly Date: 08 Nov 01 - 05:00 PM Have decided to join the real world and use my real name as my Mudcat name -so Ickle Dorritt is no more! Of course, many of you may wish to continue to call me Ickle or in Micca's case Dorritt -I will not ignore you -for indeed, I have been known to answer to anything!!! |
