Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: GUEST Date: 16 Nov 01 - 08:49 AM Does this question have a point? |
Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: Snuffy Date: 16 Nov 01 - 09:01 AM 1 to 2 pm at work and an hour round 11 or 12 at night from home. Why does the question have to have a point? There is much enjoyment to be derived from seemingly pointless (in-)activity. |
Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: Bat Goddess Date: 16 Nov 01 - 10:52 AM Prior to the end of 2000, I 'Catted weekdays for an hour before clocking in at my job (since my boss would sporadically even get upset if I checked my e-mail and I was running an antique computer at home and couldn't 'Cat from there). Since then I've been mostly freelance (no, 'Catting didn't get me fired), so I 'Cat from my home office fairly often at regular irregular intervals during the day and evening 7 days a week depending on either when work is finished or I'm between projects or when I need a break from real life work. Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: Kaleea Date: 17 Nov 01 - 01:45 AM Usually, I am online around 11pm-1am or so, and, egghead that I am, I find myself checking the mudcat out for enlightening, off the wall, far out entertainment. |
Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: Amergin Date: 17 Nov 01 - 02:56 AM why do you wish to track our activities? |
Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: GUEST Date: 17 Nov 01 - 03:36 AM When I'm drunk, which at the moment may be any time of day or night - but I'm trying to do something about that... |
Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: BlueJay Date: 17 Nov 01 - 03:52 AM Usually don't get to the Mudcat till midnight or later. Sometimes I check it at work in the day, but don't have much time. Amergin- I'm not nearly as concerned about 53 tracking my activities as I am someone of the shrubbery "not necessarily any rights" administration. Mudcat records are open, as mentioned above, so anyone with internet access can see what time I post. Who cares? Meanwhile, Dubya is taking steps to further seal embarassing moves from public scrutiny. History is being re-written in advance. I check the Mudcat late at night because I like to play music, play with my kids & grandson, watch TV and listen to music. Pretty soon I'll go to sleep. Track it all you want. I think the CIA would find it pretty boring after a while. BlueJay |
Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: Liz the Squeak Date: 17 Nov 01 - 05:05 AM Does this question have a point? Dunno Guest. Did the one that Guest started about the size of my arse have a point? I 'Cat when I can, after 8.00pm and at weekends.... LTS - whose arse is still fat. And I know someone who loves it that way!

Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: Geoff the Duck Date: 18 Nov 01 - 11:21 AM I misunderstood the question! I assumed it was an enquiry about when I might attempt to catch the feline which keeps leaving piles of crap in the middle of my lawn!!! Oh Well......... GtD.

Subject: RE: BS: when do you go catting? From: 53 Date: 18 Nov 01 - 11:55 AM (Glenda here - the original 53 before I taught Bob how to use a computer and to appreciate the community here.) I don't go 'catting as much anymore. Bob has more time and can keep me filled in so I catch threads he says I'll like. When I get in from work I sometimes don't want to even look at a computer. I don't get as many chances to 'cat from work as I did in the past. No one complains when I do, but the level of work dictates my time. Anyway my 'catting is sporadic. Glenda
