I came across this quite interesting database that maybe others can contribute to. I wrote him and said I had put a tune to Helen all alone, and sing Gesthemane to Auld Lang Syne and When you come to London to one of those Two Sisters versions..forget the name. I also told him that Gordon Bok had done at least the one of the Harp Woman and Will Pint did one..I think about seals. I seem to remember Mark Bridgam doing one about a robber. Here is the web site

http://www.kipling.org.uk/settings1.htm

If others have put tunes to Kipling, he would be interested. Likewise, from another thread, it would be interesting to see a similar site for Robert Service, Henry Lawson etc. mg

Well, here is a question. I keep looking at Gift of the Sea..where a woman hears a child crying and by the time she gets to it the child is dead...and thinking it needs a tune..anyone done it?

Interesting link...of course I noticed immediately that none of the settings Leslie Fish and Michael Longcor (from the filk community) have done. I shall have to forward the link to appropriate places (insert evil laugh here).
