Subject: O Skiffler ,where art thou? From: GUEST,Roger the skiffler Date: 28 Nov 01 - 04:53 AM Or...Skiffler unmasked, unfrocked, unearthed. Some 'Catters already have my 3D details (Rick, bert, Larry Otway,Big Mick, Bill Sables) but if anyone else feels the "need to know" while I'm off the 'Cat after December 21st you can e-mail me at my work e-mail before then & I'll respond. The_one_and_only_Dai might want to, then I'll give him my wife's e-mail in case of changes to Stoney Stratford (she volunteered to act as conduit for "emergencies"!). Obviously, I don't want to encourage too many incoming e-mails to work, my in-box is usually full of junkmail, from offers of Viagra, penile extensions, cures for hair loss and offers of breast implants (now that's one I don't need,)as well as lots of work-related ones, but for those few who want to be able to track me down I'm on r.shrigley@rhul.ac.uk until Dec 21st. I won't be offended if there are no takers! RtS (Who is that masked man? Oh, sorry, it's not a mask!) |

Subject: RE: BS: O Skiffler ,where art thou? From: GUEST,Roger the skiffler Date: 28 Nov 01 - 05:56 AM Yes, Fibs, though my Irish grandfather was on the maternal side. The Irish village is named after the Cheshire village (where my paternal great grandfather came from), when weavers from Cheshire moved to start factories in Ireland. Me, I'm pure (?pure?) Brummie ( or have I mentioned that before?**BG**) RtS (no need for 101 kazoo tunes, all mine sound the same!) |
