Subject: RE: Help: finding MP3 song files From: Clinton Hammond Date: 29 Nov 01 - 02:14 PM Well, given that folk isn't wildly popular, its appearance on peer-to-peer is spotty at best... but I've found some good stuff on Morpheus... Ouside of that... I haven't had much better luck... |
Subject: finding MP3 song files From: GUEST,Gary Date: 29 Nov 01 - 02:12 PM Without spending 30 dollars for a CD with only one song that I want on it, I'm searching all over for some recorded versions of these songs. I have tried the library, flea market LP sales, Gnutella online network, even the 'rec.music.folk' newsgroup but to no avail. Does anyone know of a way I can 'access' individual songs without the expense of the entire box set or rare expensive vinyl disk? Is there some swap newsgroup or FTP site? A 'folkster' software engine? Any constructive help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
