To Jim Johnson

Unless I'm mistaken I'm sitting here looking at a vinyl I bought many years back when the F'harmoniuos Jug used to play in High Wycombe....jolly good stuff, brings back memories.

Yellow and green sleeve?

Don't know if this will get through or not as the thread is now about 5 years old....

The Ffilharmonious Jug Band has morphed into other things. Of the original members, Doug Kyle now lives in Devon, England and makes the beautiful "Kyle" Gypsy/Jazz Guitars, and percusionist Pete Ballan lives in Yorkshire, England. The whereabouts of American Jeff Wilson is unknown.

I currently live in Dodge City, KS USA and continue to play Jug Band and Bluegrass music whenever possible. I am the Front Street Jug Stompers. Yes. Just me... I will be reviving the Ffilharmonious name in February of 2007 in Minneapolis, MN USA as the "Ffilharmonious Jug Stompers" compete in the 25th Annual Battle of the Jug Bands.

Warm regards,
Jim Johnson, member Ffilharmonious Jug Band

I have now, Leonard, thanks. BTW as I thought the site I gave (thanks for correcting the html, GB!) is a year or so old so some of the links have died since.

Gutbucketeer might be interested in these (there's even a jugband in Hawaii, Mark!) though it may be out of date.
Blicky here
