Subject: Concert for a Landmine-free world From: Rich(bodhránai gan ciall) Date: 06 Dec 01 - 07:06 PM I saw the "Concert for a Landmine-Free World" tour in Pittsburgh last night, organized by Viet Nam Veterans of America. Not only is it a good cause, but a wonderful show; Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Nanci Griffith, Bruce Cockburn and Mary Chapin Carpenter.........TOGETHER! They are in Philly (Glenside) tonight, and then 2 shows in New York and then they finish up in DC. Defintely see this how if you can. I'm normally not a singer-songwriter fan but this was a whole collection of exceptions to that rule. Rich |

It was too late for me to change my therapy appt. I guess I'll just go to the open circle at The Mermaid after therapy. Maybe some of the regulars there will have opted for this show, though.
