if any of you are in the Mt.Airy,N.C.,area on saturday night,december 15th....you are invited to stop in at the Andy Griffith Playhouse at 7:30 pm.... chuck and peggi hemrick and friends,will be in concert along with 2 other old-time and bluegrass bands... since the family's kids have moved on with their personal lives,chuck and peggi are performing with friends of other groups to carry on their traditional music and heritage... the program this week will be a mixture of old-time,bluegrass and christmas favorites... they have become a regulars in the area and are in jam sessions on friday nights at the Willis Gap,Virginia, community center and on saturday mornings at the Downtown Cinema,in Mt.Airy,N.C.... cd's of their music can be purchased from them...hemrick family singers...390 college street...rural hall,n.c.27045... cd is a mixture of 18 songs from 3 recording sessions...$12.00.........
