Once again, thanks to the good ol' Mudcat we've met another 'gem'. We had Chris Amos on "Acoustic Workshop" last Monday, and he makes for one darn good interview. He sang and played some strong trad material, and went with us over to the Free Times Cafe after the show, for a pint or two. The open stage was in full swing and Chris (not being an 18 year old girl songwriter) provided a bit of contrast with his two songs.

I've received several e-mails about his radio appearance, all complimentary....but most wanting to know where to order his recordings.

Hey Chris (are you still up in Brampton?) can you let 'em know? I told each e-mailer to check this space for possible info.

I've just arrived back in the UK, a bit jet lagged,(as I was when I last saw you).

I enjoyed doing the show tremendiously, your version of John Hardy will stay with me forever.

Glad you're home safe Chris. next time we'll try and score you a 'paying' gig.

Actually it was "Jesse James" (that I forgot the words to, and REALLY had to improvise on!), and I've already heard from the guy who requested it. Got thanked but he said it was "nothing like the record". No kidding!!

Rick,

That's better, I've had a good sleep now and can tell the difference between Jesse James and John Hardy again.

The only recordings I currently have available are in the form of a demo tape/CD which I would be glad to forward to anyone interested for the cost of p&p (approx $5 Can), contact me either through Mudcat or on [e-mail].

There will be a new album hopefully ready by early summer, also when I can figure out how to do it I will post a site on MP3.com.

Once again many thanks for your hospitality, I am preparing a mini disc with some of the tracks we talked about on Monday and will post this off by the weekend.
