Subject: RE: Bill Sables From: selby Date: 25 Dec 01 - 06:06 AM My dear lady wife took a party of school children to see a pantomine at the Opera House York (next door to the dungeon) a certain Gentleman came out and the other teachers had to ask the bearded gentleman to go back inside as he was frightening the more timid ones. When the bus left and the bearded gentleman was discussed on the bus my wife said oh that'll be Bill and her street cred with the older ones shot up. Perhaps he hasn't been released for christmas Keith |
Subject: RE: Bill Sables From: bill\sables Date: 25 Dec 01 - 03:15 PM OK I am still alive, This work thing does nothing for your social life, does it? I was realeased yesterday (Christmas Eve) but have to report back tomorrow and be a Satan for yet another day. Yes I did say Satan, not Santa. Basicly what I an doing is sitting in a gruesome grotto in a Santa suit with false nose and a pair of horns and trying to encourage visitors to part with £1 for an unlucky dip which they would never have thought they wanted or needed. I do, however, encourage them to open the gifts when they get home as I don't like to see the dissapointment on their faces. I find when I am at work I think of things to do or places to go after work, but when I get home I usually fall asleep in a chair and end up doing nothing except going to bed, I suppose some day I will get used to this alien thing called work. I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and if I don't get back here have a Happy Easter as well. Cheers Bill |

Subject: RE: Bill Sables From: WyoWoman Date: 25 Dec 01 - 09:08 PM Good to hear from you, even though I missed out on earlier dungeon references and am somewhat mystified about all this. However, your after-work routine sounds very much like mine. Even my cat finds me boring. Happiest of holidays to you and the Missus. Love, ww |
