Can anyone out there please help me find a special website address. I´m looking for a website where it is possible to download or search for Irish tunes. I had this address once, but I seem to have lost it again.

Will welcome any assistance on this.

Here's a few to start. Haven't been at some sites for a long while so don't know if still valid or if they apply to your request.

Thanks alot to Lynn W and gnu for your help here.

Actually, I found the website I was really looking for by referring back to Irish Music Magazine. Now I would like to share this with you if you are not already aware of it.

The website can be found in a search machine by simply typing in:

TUNEdb

This will bring you into an amazing world of Irish-Trad tunes (over 12000 I think)

There are a variety of ways to search for a tune, you can either type in the first part of a name, or if you´re not sure about the name, you can also type in the first few notes in abc format. The brilliant thing is that the tunes will be played back in correct keys at a pace to allow even pure beginners to play along. Naturally you can also contribute new tunes to this website.

Check it out, simply brilliant!
