just to do a little Happy Dance and share the good news - the "Great Tune Search" has managed to reduce the "to be found" count (this is the semi-official guesstimate of remaining tunes in the Oct 99 version of the DT 'missing') to *under 2000!*

Which means approx (I said it was a guesstimate!) 1875 tunes have been identified/located/posted.

This doesn't include NEW tunes posted of course!

I wasn't sure this was going to occur before New Year's - but it did!

WOW! Any idea of how many people that took, to average out to how many per? Impressive!! Thanks to everyone who did so!

Many people involved - some into the hundreds of tunes - some only one or two - but often the single contributions are things not likely to be found elsewhere. Malcolm as usual not only contributing tunes, but commentary and background on others submitted - Snuffy, Sorcha, Lin and John in Kansas, IvanB, John in Brisbane, alison, nutty, BruceO, brian, Mark Cohen...

I'm forgetting some contributers, I know. dozens of catters.
