Well, at least there is a handful of folkies in this year's list - Malcolm Taylor OBE for services to the Vaughan Williams Library, Phil Cunningham MBE for services to traditional music in Scotland and Taffy Thomas MBE for services to storytelling. Also MBEs for services to piping (Susan McIntyre) and wheelchair dancing in Cornwall (Margaret Oliver.
