Hey, someone!! Joe, Jeff! all of a sudden I don't show up as a member. I was trying to access some personal messages (there were a total of 20 still logged in at last count) and I can find no evidence that I even HAVE personal messages. I was in the process of replying to a personal message from Bat Goddess and I got a screen which I took to be my ISP cutting me off. Then when I was reconnected I could not find any reference to a personal message and I am told I'm not a member??? what is going on?

Go to the Quick Links at the top of the page. Click on the drop down menue. Select "Reset Cookie" and follow the directions.

CB - I think a great many of us suffer from CCS (Crumbled Cookie Syndrom)from time to time. I haven't the foggiest as to how or why (maybe the computer analog of a brain fart), but the reset process CarolC motes above is quick and simple.

CB, if the QuickLinks cookie reset doesn't work (also on the Help Forum Menu and the Membership Page), then I'de suggest you take a look at the instructions I posted int eh FAQ. There's a box called "Standard Login Instructions" or something like that - it shows you how to clear your browser cache of corrupted pages that may be confusing your system.

Joe, it happened to me to, and when I tried to reset my cookie, I was asked for a password, which I don't remember. I need to get to my personal messages as they contain the address of my secret santee.

Salu, Coyote Breath! I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you in a while. I hadn't noticed this thread until just now when Tom mentioned it. (He kept forgetting to tell me about it -- or thought I had seen it or something.)

Hope you get this worked out! Told my mother in Milwaukee today what I found out about the Hot Shots the other day. (Does that reference now turn this into a music thread?) But I'm still interested in hearing more about your uncle.
