Which is pronounced "Done low" w/emphasis on the first syllable. It refers to the annual Mary of Dungloe festival (tongue in cheek, of course) which is a pretty big festival in the area in summer. An Irish or Irish Diaspora Mary is chosen to reign over the festivities each year. In case anyone cares. |
