Subject: Do You Mudcat Together? From: magician Date: 09 Jan 02 - 07:23 AM Gillie and I have two computers which are networked together. Normally only one of us can get online at a time but this morning we both managed at the same time. We are Mudcating Together. How many others do this? |

Subject: RE: BS: Do You Mudcat Together? From: Jon Freeman Date: 09 Jan 02 - 08:51 AM My PC is networked with my mother's and she does read Mudcat sometimes. I can't be certain (where she goes on the internet and when is her affair) but it is probable that both of us have been "Mudcatting" at the same time. Jon |

Subject: RE: BS: Do You Mudcat Together? From: Bill D Date: 09 Jan 02 - 10:52 AM having one computer, we (Ferrara & I)are reduced to reading over each other's shoulder at times...and sometimes one will plead with the other to sign off so 'one' can past a reply..(I believe this is called "serial monotony") ..but I HAVE had arguments with myself using 2nd & 3rd windows, and even separate browsers. Who started the myth that muliple personalities is a disorder? |

Subject: RE: BS: Do You Mudcat Together? From: artbrooks Date: 09 Jan 02 - 02:03 PM No. Herself tends to think that Mudcat is a somewhat benign addiction, but (probably) preferable to most of the alternatives. She does occasionally read a thread over my shoulder, especially if they remind her of some of the many places we have lived. I can't understand her point, since she sends hours at a time doing live back-and-forth on Yahoo with her sister in North Carolina and our daughter in Texas. |

Subject: RE: BS: Do You Mudcat Together? From: Mr Red Date: 10 Jan 02 - 10:01 AM Which of you two muttered abracadaver? Both hit it dead centre? I do it in public - at the library, but like a bit of variety so do it at home too, sometimes with Joy, but only one PC as my two 'puters are not networked to avoid STD (spurious two devotees). good to see you both at Bed'th. |
