Allie, they may have been too big for hotmail. If you try geniesings@yahoo.com, my limit there is 6MB. That should be enough.

Thanks,
Genie

Allie,

I tried to send pdf files to you, and your e-mail bounced them back--

Allie, I may post the chords later (I'll probably modify them a little from the ones from the link you posted.), but here are the lyrics. Thanks for the link.
Ted, thanks for the offer. I may yet take you up on it, but I don't think I need to, since I've got the chords now.

He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother

(Bobby Scott - Bobby Russell)

The road is long
with many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where, who knows where,
But I'm strong, strong enough to carry him.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

So on we go. His welfare is my concern.
No burden is he to bear, we'll get there,
For I know he will not encumber me.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

If I'm laden at all,
I'm laden with sadness
that everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another.

It's a long, long road
from which there is no return.
While we're on the way to there, why not share?
And the load doesn't weigh me down at all.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother,
He's my brother.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Well, Allie posted while I was looking--my chords work, but these make more sense, from a guitar point of view--Still, if you want mine, PM you e-mail and I'll send them--

I've been doing this song in my MLK Day programs for years, but I've forgotten some lyrics (I sometimes put lines into the wrong verse) and I need to refresh my memory for the chord pattern. Does anyone have it handy to post? I checked the forum and DT with no luck, and I doubt Cowpie would have it or any of the "top 100" type websites.
